BNP Paribas Asset Management has expanded its climate exchange-traded fund (ETF) range with the Easy MSCI ACWI SRI S-Series PAB 5% Capped UCITS ETF. Operating as a sub-fund of the BNP Paribas Easy Irish ICAV, the fund is trading on Euronext Paris, Borsa Italiana and SIX Swiss Exchange, and will be listed on Deutsche Börse Xetra as of 23 May. The ETF will seek to replicate the performance of the MSCI ACWI SRI S-Series PAB 5% Capped Index, providing in investors with exposure to companies across developed and emerging markets with high ESG standards. It will comply with the EU’s Paris-aligned Benchmark (PAB) targets of reducing greenhouse gas intensity by at least 50% relative to the initial investment universe, achieving an additional decarbonisation target of at least 7% each year. “The aim is to capture long-term growth opportunities offered by global equities while integrating a serious and strong ESG approach,” said Lorraine Sereyjol-Garros, Global Head of Development for ETFs and Index Funds at BNP Paribas Asset Management.
