Gavin Smith, PhD, is Head of Equity Research and Sustainable Investing for PGIM Quantitative Solutions (PQS). He is responsible for the research, oversight and incorporation of ESG for its investment platform and oversees research and analysis for the quantitative equity portfolios. Prior to joining PQS, Smith led the North American Quantitative Research team at Macquarie Capital, as well as serving in quantitative research positions at Barclays Capital and Plato Investment Management in Australia.
