Sophia Cheng, Cathay Financial and Mindy Lubber, Ceres

Sophia Cheng is the Chief Investment Officer of Cathay Financial Holdings, acting also as Chair of Asia Investor Group on Climate Change. She has 30 years of experience in research and investment, most recently acting as chairman and head of research of Merrill Lynch Taiwan. An active promoter of corporate sustainability and responsible investment in Taiwan, Cheng acts as Vice Chair of Taiwan Impact Investment Association, and is a member of the National Climate Change Committee of the Presidential Office. Mindy Lubber is CEO and President of the sustainability nonprofit Ceres, and a founding member of the global steering committee for Climate Action 100+ and The Investor Agenda. Lubber was the recipient of the Champions of the Earth award, the United Nations highest environmental honor, for her leadership on climate change and sustainability. She has been named one of Barron’s 100 most influential women in US finance for the last three years.
