Hayley Grafton has joined UK-based asset manager EdenTree’s Responsible Investment (RI) team as Senior RI Analyst. In her new role, she will lead the firm’s corporate governance and proxy voting work. Grafton will also work across the team’s core focus areas this year, including climate change, financial inclusion and water stress. Grafton previously spent five years at Mercer Investment Solutions, including two as Sustainable Investment Specialist, where she collaborated with portfolio management teams to deliver the firm’s sustainable investment strategy and implement its stewardship framework. She has also worked with institutional clients across pensions, endowments and foundations in an advisory capacity, supporting trustees in meeting investment objectives. In January, EdenTree promoted Carlota Esguevillas to Head of Responsible Investment, replacing Neville White, and selected Will Oulton as Chair of the firm’s Responsible Investment Advisory Panel. “I am delighted that Hayley has joined our dedicated responsible investment team, bringing with her expertise and experience that will no doubt complement the wealth of knowledge within our current team, said Esguevillas. “The strength of the team will allow us to expand our focus for clients and prospects alike.”
