The Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) has released its updated Reporting Framework ahead of the mid-May opening of its 2023 reporting season. The updated framework has been re-designed and revised to reflect feedback from PRI’s signatories, which primarily focused on improving its clarity, consistency and applicability, as well as more closely aligning it with other global reporting processes. The updated reporting framework will enable signatories to report on specific issues such as human rights, reflecting the changing priorities and focuses in the sector. David Atkin, CEO at the PRI, said: “The updated framework provides a valuable way for our signatories to monitor and report progress against their ESG investing goals. In addition, the framework will offer broader insights into progress on responsible investment issues which are important to our signatories and the responsible investment ecosystem broadly.”
